Kengo Kuma and Associates has been awarded first prize to design a spiral-shaped public library in Rzeszów, Poland, which will serve as a civic connector between the Marshal's Office and a nearby Secondary School Complex. The library will feature traditional functions alongside cultural and educational spaces, including a music hall and conference rooms, while its spiraling volume will integrate with the urban landscape through roof terraces and event areas.
