Construction is underway for the new Austin Convention Center, designed by Seattle-based LMN Architects in collaboration with local studio Page, following the demolition of the previous facility. The project, characterised by its "vertically-oriented" design, is set to enhance the city's capacity for hosting large events, coinciding with the upcoming SXSW festival.
