Barcelona has selected five finalist teams, including SANAA, David Chipperfield Architects, and Snøhetta, for the design of Liceu Mar, a new cultural venue at the Port Vell waterfront. This project aims to enhance the Gran Teatre del Liceu's artistic and civic role, with the winning proposal expected to be announced in autumn 2026.
