The Charleroi Palais des Expositions, originally completed in 1954, has undergone a seven-year transformation led by AgwA and Architecten Jan de Vylder Inge Vinck, focusing on conservation while revitalising the 50,000-square-metre convention centre. This project has been recognised with the prestigious Mies van der Rohe Award 2026, highlighting its significance in contemporary architectural practice.
