Safdie Architects has unveiled designs for the Cherokee Heritage Center, an interconnected set of pavilions intended to serve as a cultural campus for the Cherokee Nation. The design concept features walls that evoke layered, earthen materials, harmoniously integrating with the surrounding grove of trees.
