Astaka Kota Selera is an architectural intervention that harmonises the preservation of Malaysia's colonial heritage with the contemporary street food culture in George Town. This project is a key element of the North Seafront Improvement Programme, necessitated by the archaeological reinstatement of the Western Moat of Fort Cornwallis, which required the strategic relocation of the original food court.
