Rómulo Neto Arquitectos has been tasked with designing a new pedestrian and cycling bridge connecting the banks of Vagos and Sousa, while preserving the ruins of the historic bridge built in 1855. The project aims to create a "museum bridge" that enhances the existing structure's significance while establishing its own identity for future use.
