The Chinati Foundation has announced a multi-year restoration of the Artillery Sheds in Marfa, Texas, originally adapted by Donald Judd to house his works in mill aluminum. The project, led by architect Troy Schaum in collaboration with the Getty Conservation Institute, will enhance the buildings' envelope, accessibility, and environmental performance while preserving Judd's installation, following their inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places in 2025.
