Steven Holl Architects has been selected to lead the renewal of Ida Noyes Hall at the University of Chicago, focusing on upgrading the building's infrastructure, enhancing accessibility, and creating new spaces for programs and events while preserving its historic character. Originally completed in 1916 as a women's clubhouse, the project aims to revitalise this significant campus gathering space with the assistance of JLK Architects for historic preservation and Workshop Architects for student-life programming.
