Macondo Park, designed by Bjarke Ingels Group in collaboration with Komodo and Vampire, is a 185,000-square-meter temporary cultural landscape surrounding the Iberdrola Music venue in Villaverde, Madrid, inspired by Gabriel García Márquez's fictional town of Macondo. The park will feature daily cultural programming alongside Shakira's concert residency until October 11, after which its structures will be dismantled.
