The Frank Liu Jr. Academy of Music and Arts, designed by OMA, is an adaptive reuse of the historic J. A. Folger & Co. coffee plant, transforming it into a contemporary educational centre that emphasises music, art, and community. Organised as a three-storey learning landscape, the design incorporates Montessori principles, fostering independence and collective learning through shared neighbourhoods and central gathering spaces.
