Zuidpark transforms the former commercial docks of Gedempte Zuiderdokken in Antwerp into a sustainable urban park, featuring distinct zones for social interaction, including a central lawn, aquatic garden, and sports courts. Selected as a finalist for the 2026 European Prize for Urban Public Space, the project addresses climate challenges by enhancing drainage and reintroducing vegetation, effectively revitalising a previously lifeless area.
