Arup has designed the Pilen viewpoint, an arrow-shaped structure featuring a zigzagging path that allows the public to observe the construction of the Fehmarnbelt Tunnel, an 18-kilometre road-and-rail tunnel connecting Denmark and Germany. This demountable viewpoint enhances public engagement with the significant infrastructure project aimed at improving connectivity between continental Europe and Scandinavia.
