Following severe flood damage, a long-standing local photo studio in Japan has been reconstructed as a contemporary civic space that integrates a café, observatory, and retail functions. The project reinterprets the traditional Japanese neighborhood photo studio as a form of social infrastructure, enhancing local memory and public interaction.
